Bruce Grayson B.E.(Civil), P.Eng. . Bruce was Australian born. He studied engineering at the University of Newcastle. He earned his degree in 1988 Bruce is a member of APEGBC. He is a recipient of the Beryl Nashar Prize in Geology and the Prospector’s Supplies Prize in Geology. Bruce has chaired many Engineering Associations internationally, he is well respected in his field. He registered as an International Engineer in 2004 and has been fortunate enough to work in many locations such as Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Tonga and Canada. Bruce has a keen eye for detail, and his varied experience makes him an asset. His technical skills include soil and rock identification; materials technology; foundation bearing capacity and settlement; pile capacity; lateral earth pressures, seismic earth pressures; slope stability assessment; retaining wall design including geosynthetically-reinforced soils; groundwater assessment and contamination assessment/remediation.
Core Geotechnical Inc. Technicians are equipped with state of the art technology. They work closely with the Senior Geotechnical Engineers and can often pass on real time answers, direction, and the go ahead to proceed on jobs, from the Engineer, with the written report following.
